Answer: Save the Last Dance.  These words were said by Chenille, to her brother Derek, after she revealed that she had said something inappropriate to his girlfriend, Sara. The plot of the 2001 film, “Save the Last Dance”, revolved around the issues faced by an interracial couple. After losing her mother, Sara Johnson, (played by Julia Stiles), a talented white dancer, moved in with her estranged father, who lived in a rather rough neighbourhood. There she met Derek Reynolds, (played by Sean Patrick Thomas), an intelligent black teenager with a promising future in medical school. The film followed the highs and lows of their relationship, as Derek helped Sara to practice for her audition at Juilliard.
