“Did you give the prisoner the third degree?” the police captain asked the detective.
“Yeah, we browbeat him pretty good,” nodded the other. “Asked him every
question and made every threat we could think of.”
“And did you get a confession?” asked the sergeant.
“Not exactly,” explained the officer. “All he’d say was,
‘Yes dear,’ and dozed off.” 😳😳😳
Tuesday’s’ Movie Trivia of the day! What movie is this quote from??? “
“To make honey, young bee need young flower, not old prune.”
Answer: The Karate Kid!
In the 1984 movie “The Karate Kid” Ralph Macchio plays a high school student Daniel LaRusso, new to town who gets on the wrong side of a group of bullies who study karate at a dojo with a belligerent karate master. They beat him up and he seeks the help of a lonely mild-mannered and wryly humorous handyman, a Mr. Miyagi, played wonderfully by Pat Morita, who was Academy Award nominated for his performance. Mr. Miyagi has a slew of bits of wisdom about karate and life in general that he doles out as he trains Macchio’s character Danny. In one scene for instance, Mr. Miyagi tries encouraging Danny to go to the school dance, but Danny laments that he’s not into dancing and doesn’t feel like it. Mr. Miyagi tells him “Oh, Daniel-San, you too much by self. Not good.” And when Danny counters that he’s not by himself, he’s got Mr. Miyagi as his friend, Miyagi tells him, “To make honey, young bee need young flower, not old prune.”
