The driving instructor was giving lessons to an extremely nervous student who panicked
whenever another car approached on a particular two-lane road. One day, however,
they got to the same stretch of road; and the student remained completely calm.
“This time you’re doing fine!” exclaimed the instructor.
“Yes,” the novice driver agreed. “Now, when I see another car coming, I shut my eyes.” 😳😳

“Funny Girl” is loosely based on the early career of Fanny Brice, comedian, Ziegfield Girl, star of Broadway, radio and silver screen. She was prominent in show business from 1910 through the 1940s, dying in 1951. The part was brilliantly played by Barbra Streisand, an Oscar winner for this, her first film.
Fanny rose to the top when Florenz Ziegfeld discovered her and starred her in his “Follies”. Her relationship with the shady Nicky Arnstein, who became her husband is romanticized in the film. The closing song was for him, it came when Nicky tells her he thinks it better if she forget him and they separate. The song, should he hear it, tells of her everlasting love for him.

Tuesday’s Quizzler is….
During the Summer Olympics, a fellow competed in the long jump and out-jumped everybody.
He didn’t just win the event, he actually broke the world record held for that event. Nobody
broke his record for the remainder of the Olympics, and still today his name is in the record books.
However, even though he holds the world record, he never received a medal in the long jump.
How did he manage to do so well, but not receive a medal?
Answer: He was competing in the decathlon. He won the long jump event, but didn’t perform very well in the other events. He lost the decathlon, so he didn’t receive any medals (even though he holds the world record for long jump).
