WELCOME to TUESDAY July 11, 2023
Here’s The Story…..
In the British documentary 56 Up, a man shared that he had earned
a law degree at Oxford. Then, in his thick English accent,
he proudly proclaimed that he was now a “barrister.”
My 13-year-old daughter wasn’t impressed. “So,” she said, “he spent
all that effort getting an Oxford law degree, and now he works at Starbucks?”
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Have a HAPPY TUESDAY, people, stay safe,
and whatever you do, don’t forget to laff it up! Peace, I am outta here! Eucman! 😁

My wife is a very adventurous cook. “How does this sound?” she called out
from the kitchen. “Bonito, surimi, and anchovies in a decadent, silky broth.”
“Sounds delicious,” I hollered back. “Is that what we’re having tonight?”
“No. I’m reading from this packet of cat food.” 😳😳😳
Monday’s’ Movie Trivia of the day! What movie is this quote from??? “
“Everybody’s picking up on that feline beat.”
Answer: The Aristocats!
Here’s another quote that came from a song, specifically “Everybody Wants to be a Cat” from the movie “The Aristocats”. In the 1960s, when this movie was created, the word “cat” was used by beatniks to refer to someone who was part of the in-crowd. Therefore, since this movie starred cats, being a cat had a double meaning. The feline beat would be a reference to the music that makes them part of the in crowd.
Tuesday’s Movie Trivia of the day! What movie is this quote from???
