WELCOME to TUESDAY July 23, 2023
Here’s The Story…..
I was waiting tables at a country club when an elegantly dressed woman spilled
Manhattan clam chowder all over her white linen skirt. She began furiously dabbing at it with a napkin.
Having plenty of experience with getting out food stains, I asked, “Can I bring you some club soda?”
“Young lady,” she barked, “I’ll be the judge of when I’ve had enough to drink. Bring me another martini!”
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Have a HAPPY TUESDAY, people, stay safe,
and whatever you do, don’t forget to laff it up! Peace, I am outta here! Eucman! 😁

A man with a wooden leg wanted to buy fire insurance for his leg. The first actuary quoted
an annual premium of $500, estimating that the leg would burn once in 20 years and the value
of the leg is $5,000. The second actuary quoted an annual premium of $50. When the second
actuary was asked how he arrived at such a small figure, he replied, “This situation is right here
in the fire schedule rating table.
The object is a wooden structure with an upper sprinkler, isn’t it?” 😳😳😳
Monday’s’ Movie Trivia of the day! What movie is this quote from??? “
“I would have would have followed you, my brother…my captain…my king.”
Answer: “Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”
With these words, Boromir was accepting Aragorn’s rightful position as King of Gondor, in place of Boromir’s father, who was Steward of Gondor, and only a guardian of the throne. This was important to both Boromir and Aragorn, as Boromir had spent the majority of the movie insisting that Gondor neither had nor needed a king. In the original books by J.R.R. Tolkein, Boromir actually died at the beginning of the second book, “The Two Towers”.

Tuesday’s Quizzler is….
This teaser is a mixture of logic and math. In a number pyramid, the numbers 0-9 are each used once and formed into a pyramid, with one digit at the top, and right below it two digits, below those three digits, and below those four, all arranged in pyramid form.
In this puzzle, you will follow the clues given, and using these clues, create a number pyramid. There is only one answer.
Clues:
- The four numbers on the bottom row add up to 28.
- The highest number in row 3 is in the middle, or in the second out of third position.
- The third number from the left in the bottom row isn’t 7.
- The rightmost numbers in each row, or the numbers on the right side going down, add up to 11.
- The numbers 0 and 5 are in different rows.
- The apex of the pyramid, or the top number, minus the leftmost number in row 2, equals 4.
- The leftmost numbers in the four rows, or the left hand side going down, add up to 20.
