Tuesday’s Jokes, Quotes, Quizzlers and Teases!

WELCOME to TUESDAY FEBRUARY 17th, 2026

Here’s The Story….
Today marks the 35th anniversary of the death of Sir Douglas Bader and I couldn’t
let it pass without this story about the Royal Air Force hero. He was giving a talk at
an upmarket girl’s school about his time as a pilot in the Second World War. “So there
were two of the fers behind me, three fers to my right,
and another fer on the left,” he told the audience. The headmistress went pale and interjected: “Ladies, the Fokker was a German aircraft.” Sir Douglas replied, “That is true, madam, but these fers were in Messerschmitts.”
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Have a HAPPY TUESDAY people, stay safe,
and whatever you do, don’t forget to laff it up! Peace, I am outta here! Eucman! 😁

When they heard, Americans were like, ‘Eh, tell us when they discover beer.'” -Jimmy Fallon

“A woman in Italy recently married herself in a ceremony that included a three-layer
wedding cake, bridesmaids, and 70 guests. Did I say guests? I meant cats. 70 cats.” -Seth Meyers

the groom came home with 12 brides.” -Conan O’Brien

Guaranteed to Roll Your Eyes
While trying to explain to our six-year-old daughter how much technology
had changed, my husband pointed to our brand-new personal computer
and told her that when he was in college, a computer with the same
amount of power would have been the size of a house.
Wide-eyed, our daughter asked, “How big was the mouse?” 😮😂

Monday’s Movie Trivia of the day!
Bob Hoskins plays private investigator Eddie Valiant in this ground-breaking special effects film (blending live action and animation together almost seamlessly) about a rabbit that gets accused of murder. This is not at all easy for Eddie, who has held a grudge against all toons after his brother’s murder five year prior. After discovering the real plot and who is behind it, Eddie regains his trust of the ‘toons (thank you, Roger!) and happily coexists with them in Toontown once again.

Answer:  The correct answer was Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Tuesdays Movie Trivia of the day!
Haley Joel Osment plays David, a robot boy (known as a mecha) with a unique ability to love. He is placed with a family who has a son in suspended animation due to illness; and his ‘mother’, Monica, learns to love the robot child as her own. This is until her human son, Martin, recovers from his disease and gets into a fight with David.

As a robot, he is found to be a danger and sent away (Monica, who had grown to love him as her own, did not send him for destruction, but instead to a scrap metal land full of other mechas so he would not be alone). Given his ability to love, David determines he wants to be a real boy, and, just like Pinocchio, sets off to find the Blue Fairy to help him do so. Alas, his search is in vain, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t able to spend one final day with his human mother, Monica; albeit 2,000 years into the future via a recreation of her.

Monday’s Quizzler is….
Below are several sets of words with some letters taken out. For each letter (A, B, or C) there are 2 words. Find the 2 or 3 letters that will fit into both words. Take the letters that you put into the words for A, B and (maybe) C and unscramble them. That is your answer for that number.

Tuesday’s Quizzler is….😎😎

Five competitors (two women named Alexa and Breanna, and three men named Larry, Arnold and Michael) recently decided they would race each other for a large prize. Before the race would start, each person decided to do a different aerobics class to try and become more fit and healthy. Each had already raced for a number of months in competitions (3, 6, 9, 12, 15). Their surnames are Anderson, Cameron, Douglas, Ewell and Farlin. After two months of aerobics each person noticed a different benefit from their exercise. From the clues below, can you match the full name of each competitor with the number of months they’ve raced before, the benefit each has experienced from aerobics, and the brand of sneakers each wears?

  1. Arnold, who isn’t surnamed Anderson, doesn’t use Nike shoes.
  2. Arnold has been racing for fewer months than the woman who noticed an increase in her energy level; she has been racing for fewer months than the friend who wears Brooks shoes.
  3. The person who has been racing for the least amount of time is neither the man who uses Adidas shoes, nor another person surnamed Douglas.
  4. The man who uses Reebok shoes has been racing longer than the person surnamed Ewell, who has been racing longer than the person who lowered his/her cholesterol level.
  5. The person who has experienced weight loss began racing after the one who gained muscle tone and before Alexa (who doesn’t use Nike).
  6. Larry lowered his cholesterol level.
  7. The one surnamed Anderson hasn’t noticed any weight loss.
  8. Ms. Ewell isn’t the woman who gained muscle tone.
  9. Ms. Cameron enjoys aerobics so much that she goes to the gym at least 5 times a week.
