WELCOME to Thursday June 7, 2012. More Pondering…
When you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn?
Does fuzzy logic tickle?
Do blind Eskimos have seeing-eye sled dogs?
Do they have reserved parking for non-handicap people at the Special Olympics?
Why do they call it a TV set when you only get one?
How come wrong numbers are never busy?
Do radioactive cats have 18 half-lives?
If you shoot a mime, should you use a silencer?
Why call it “take” a dump, when you leave something behind?
What was the best thing before sliced bread?
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Have a wonderful Thursday people,
and whatever you do, don’t forget to LAUGH IT UP!
Peace I am outta here, Eucman!

A linguistics professor was lecturing to his English class one day. “In English,” he said, “A double
negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still
a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative.”
A voice from the back of the room piped up, “Yeah, right.”
Wednesday’s Movie Trivia of the day!‘How much movie trivia can you answer?
What movie is this quote from??? “I am a British Citizen, I have nothing to fear!
[Gunshot goes off in background] … Except bullets.”,
Answer: Around the World in 80 Days! This movie is based on the novel, carrying the same name, by Jules Verne, however, the story in this film version deviates a great deal from Verne’s original work. Phileas Fogg takes on a bet to race around the world in the set time (80 days). Success will see him become the Minister for Science, failure will see his lab destroyed with the rider that he is not to invent another thing. In the race he is accompanied by his valet, Passepartout, played by Jackie Chan who, unbeknownst to Fogg, has stolen the Jade Buddha from the Bank of England. It was given to Lord Kelvin of England by the Chinese General Fang in exchange for military aid. Fogg and his valet are being pursued by the General’s warriors at the time he utters the initially defiant quote at them. They hastily make their escape in a hot air balloon.
