Here’s The Story….
An Indian chief had three wives, each of whom was pregnant. The first gave birth
to a boy. The chief was so elated he built her a teepee made of deer hide. A few
days later, the second gave birth, also to a boy. The chief was very happy. He built
her a teepee made of antelope hide. The third wife gave birth a few days later, but
the chief kept the details a secret. He built this one a two story teepee, made out of
a hippopotamus hide. The chief then challenged the tribe to guess what had occurred.
Many tried, unsuccessfully. Finally, one young brave declared that the third wife had
given birth to twin boys. “Correct,” said the chief. “How did you figure it out?” The
warrior answered, “It’s elementary. The value of the squaw of the hippopotamus is
equal to the sons of the squaws of the other two hides.”

He was a mediocre conductor of a mediocre orchestra. He had been having
problems with the basses; they were the least professional of his musicians.
It was the last performance of the season, Beethoven痴 9th Symphony, which
required extra effort from the basses at the end. Earlier that evening, he found
the basses celebrating one of their birthdays by passing a bottle around. As he
was about to cue the basses, he knocked over his music stand. The sheet music
scattered. As he stood in front of his orchestra, his worst fear was realized; it was
the bottom of the 9th, no score and the basses were loaded.

Kirstie Alley played Robin Bishop, an American History teacher in “Summer School” (1987). She had advanced kids who wanted to learn more over the summer. Meanwhile, a gym teacher, Freddy Shoop (Mark Harmon) had been blackmailed to take the summer school English class. These were not advanced kids, however, but students who failed English during the school year and had to repeat it over the summer. Shoop confessed he only became a teacher to get his summers off. At first, he just goofed off with the kids and took them on field trips to the zoo and such.
But then, Vice Principal Phil Gills (Robin Thomas) threatened to have him fired, so Shoop said he would become the model teacher and get all the students to pass the exam. Since the students had no interest in learning he bribed them all. He eventually ended up getting arrested and put in jail because an officer caught Chainsaw (Dean Cameron) and Dave (Gary Riley) on the beach with alcohol. They were underage. Shoop covered for them saying it was his and he asked them to hold it, so he was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He called Robin to bail him out, but she was dating Phil. Phil wanted to leave him in jail, so Robin reminded Phil that “he’s still a human being, Phil.” Later, she realized Phil was a jerk, and Shoop was a bit immature, but cared for the kids, and just needed some guidance.
