Thursday’s Jokes, Quotes, Quizzlers and Teases!

WELCOME to THURSDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2024

Here’s The Story….
A man with a wooden leg wanted to buy fire insurance for his leg.
The first actuary quoted an annual premium of $500, estimating that
the leg would burn once in 20 years and the value of the leg is $5,000.
The second actuary quoted an annual premium of $50. When the second
actuary was asked how he arrived at such a small figure, he replied,
“This situation is right here in the fire schedule rating table.
The object is a wooden structure with an upper sprinkler, isn’t it?”
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Have a HAPPY THURSDAY!, people, stay safe,
and whatever you do, don’t forget to laff it up! Peace, I am outta here! Eucman! 😁

Guaranteed to Roll Your Eyes
I was waiting tables at a country club when an elegantly dressed
woman spilled Manhattan clam chowder all over her white linen skirt.
She began furiously dabbing at it with a napkin.
Having plenty of experience with getting out food stains, I asked,
“Can I bring you some club soda?”
“Young lady,” she barked, “I’ll be the judge of when I’ve had
enough to drink. Bring me another martini!” 😳😳

Wednesday’s Quizzler is….
I stare at you,
you stare at me.
I have three eyes,
Yet I cannot see.
Every time I blink,
I give commands.
You do as you are told.
With your feet and hands.

What am I?

ANSWER: A traffic light.

Thursday’s Quizzler is….😎😎
I can run swiftly and silently when you want me to stay still,
I can move slowly and cautiously and am yours to fill.
You look at me often and yet you always forget me,
I am the most feared killer, yet you can’t live without me.
Sometimes you have me for all to spare,
Yet when you need me, I am not there.
You can waste me, or cherish me, you choose the track,
But once you’re done you can never get me back.
