WELCOME to FRIDAY OCTOBER 16, 2020
Some Things I’ve Learned…
I’ve learned that you can get by on charm for about 15 minutes. After that, you’d better know something.
I’ve learned that you shouldn’t compare yourself to the best others can do, but to the best you can do.
I’ve learned that it’s not what happens to people that’s important. It’s what they do about it.
I’ve learned that you can do something in an instant that will give you a heartache for life.
I’ve learned that no matter how thin you slice it, there are always two sides.
I’ve learned that it’s a lot easier to react than it is to think.
I’ve learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words.
I’ve learned that you can keep going long after you think you can’t.
I’ve learned that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I’ve learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I’ve learned that when the light turns green, you had better look both ways before proceeding.
I’ve learned that there are people who love you dearly, but just don’t know how to show it.
I’ve learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and still have the best time.
I’ve learned that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance.
I’ve learned that you should never tell a child his dreams are unlikely or outlandish. Few things are more humiliating, and what a tragedy it would be if he believed it.
Hey I’m just saying. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Have a GREAT WEEKEND people, stay safe, and whatever you do, don’t forget to laff it up! Peace, I am outta here! Eucman!

“I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.”― Audrey Hepburn
“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.”― Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
“Laughter is wine for the soul – laughter soft, or loud and deep, tinged through with seriousness – the hilarious declaration made by man that life is worth living.”― Sean O’Casey
“Life is worth living as long as there’s a laugh in it.”― Lucy Maud Montgomery
“I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t laugh.”― Maya Angelou
G u a r a n t e e d t o R o l l Y o u r E y e s! Having grown up just outside New York City, I barely knew a cow from an ear of corn. Until, that is, I married a small-town Ohio girl. While I was in seminary school, I had a temporary assignment at a church in a rural community. The day of my first sermon, I tried very hard to fit in. Maybe too hard. With my wife sitting in the first pew, I began my discourse: “I never saw a cow until I met my wife.” 😱😳😁😎
Thursdays’ Movie Trivia of the day! What movie is this quote from??? ” “I’ve just been down the gullet of an interstellar cockroach. That’s one of a hundred memories I don’t want.”
Answer: Men in Black The world is crawling with aliens, and most of us have no idea that they’re there. The organization known as MIB exists, in secrecy, to monitor that alien life. When a Bug lands, looking to create havoc in the galaxy, drawing Earth into the middle of it, the agents of MIB spring into action to save the day. This quote occurs near the end of the movie, when Agent Kay, played by Tommy Lee Jones, has announced his intention to retire and has asked Agent Jay, played by Will Smith, to wipe his memory clear. Jay protests, and Kay replies with the above quote.
Friday’s Movie Trivia of the day! What movie is this quote from????
“You think I’m licked. You all think I’m licked. Well, I’m not licked. And I’m gonna stay right here and fight for this lost cause, even if this room gets filled with lies like these. And the Taylors and all their armies come marching into this place. Somebody will listen to me.
Thursday’s Quizzler is….I constantly collide into all the others, The only one of 16 without colors. Associated with English and banking and breaking, The answer is right there for the taking.
Answer: The cue ball on a pool table. English is when spin is put on the cue ball to make it curve or bounce differently off the rail. Banking is when a shot is played off the rail. Breaking is the first shot played in a game of pool. The hint refers to the fact that chalk is placed on a cue before it strikes the cue ball.
Friday’s Quizzler is……. I can be repeated, But often not in the same way.
I can’t be changed, But can be rewritten.
I can be forgotten, And can also be lost with death.
My first is in horses, But not in ponies.
My last is in pretty, But not in beautiful.
What am I?
