Oat Milk, Really?

OK here’s the story, you take a cup of oatmeal pour hot water over it, let it soak, strain it. Then you pour it into a blender, add in some water and blend it like crazy until it looks like milk and then you chill it and drink it. Therefore, after squeezing nuts, (almonds), Vanilla and Soybeans, somebody decided to squeeze a bowl of wet oatmeal?  Here is the video link
An easy and delicious basic recipe to make any plant-based ”milk”. This oat milk is rich and creamy and can be make with or without a nut milk bag. Nut mil…

As crazy as it sounds, I prefer milk that has squeezed from a cow, I can’t imagine who was looking at a cows whohas 200 years ago and decided to drink whatever came out. Perhaps the idea that the cow’s milk provided nourishment to baby cows played a role in the decision.  To that end, cats, dogs, and a whole lota other animals give milk and we are totally not drinking that milk. So what other non-dairy milk is next? Peanut shell milk, sweet potato milk, lemon rind milk? Maybe collard greens milk, all you gotta do is squeeze, strain, and blend them with water, it will probably be green, but it will another non-dairy milk with all the nutrition-wise ingredients of collard greens. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Have a wonderful Wednesday people and whatever you do, don’t forget to LAUGH IT UP! Peace I am outta here, Eucman!😁😎

“Everything in our background has prepared us to know and resist a prison when the gates begin to close around us . . . But what if there are no cries of anguish to be heard? Who is prepared to take arms against a sea of amusements? To whom do we complain,
and when, and in what tone of voice, when serious discourse dissolves into giggles? What is the antidote to a culture’s being drained by laughter?”
― Neil Postman
“Worry is the secret weapon perpetrated upon us by the dark forces of the world that lurk in the shape of fear, uncertainty, confusion, and loss. We, on the other hand, have our own secret weapon against these incorporeal fiends.  It is laughter.” ― Vera Nazarian,

One day my housework-challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to me, “What setting do I use on the washing machine?”

“It depends,” I replied. “What does it say on your shirt?”

“University of Oklahoma,” he yelled back. 😐😏

Tuesday’s Movie Trivia of the day!‘ What movie is this quote from??? “Anybody know this joint?”  “Yeah, sure, I do. It’s perfect for us. A small family place, good food. Everyone minds  his business. It’s perfect. Pete, they got an old-fashion’ toilet — you know, the box, and – and – and – ah the chain thing.  We might be able to tape the gun behind it.”

ANSWERThe Godfather! In this scene Corleone family member Sonny (James Caan) has just received information from one of his informants as to where a proposed meeting is to be held and asks other family members about it with line one. Mob boss Virgil Sollozzo

(Al Lettieri), Police Capt. Mark McCluskey (Sterling Hayden) and Corleone family member Michael (Al Pacino) are supposed to meet in a restaurant in the Bronx (part of New York City). This meeting had been set up by Sollozzo for what Capt. McCluskey
and Sollozzo think is going to be a discussion over dinner to clear up any misunderstanding with Michael. However, Michael wants to kill them both and the discussion that follows centers on how a gun can be smuggled in to the meeting. Salvadore “Sally” Tessio (Abe Vigoda) suggests a way with line two. Sonny then says, “Hey, listen, I want somebody good — and I mean very good — to plant that gun,” and Pete Clemenza (Richard Castellano) assures him, “The gun’ll be there.” “The Godfather” follows the lives of a fictional American crime family, but many of the incidents in the story are based on incidents from real life.
