Wednesday’s Jokes, Quotes, Quizzlers and Teases!

WELCOME to WEDNESDAY JUNE 1, 2022

Hilarious pickup lines that will at least get you a laugh!😎

“Well, here I am. What are your other two wishes?”
There’s a reason why everyone says confidence is sexy, and
this is one of the most confident lines out there.

“Something’s wrong with my phone: your number isn’t in it”
Go up to them asking if they can help you with something, with a very concerned
look on your face. Give them a second to take a look at the phone, then go in for the punchline.

“If I were to ask you out, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?”
If they say no, it’s a yes to the date. If they say yes, it’s still a yes. Deviously brilliant!

“Your hand looks heavy. Can I hold it for you?”
You could also go the opposite route if you’re a little more comfortable with them and ask,
“Can you hold this for a second?” while putting out your hand as if you’re holding something in it.
Then when they reach out to receive it, you put your hand on theirs.

“I was going to call you beautiful, but then I realized I don’t have your number yet”
A compliment and a slick way to get someone’s number? This pickup line is working double-time.

“If you were words on a page, you’d be fine print”
We’ve all heard the parking ticket pickup line (“Are you a parking ticket? Because you have
fine written all over”), so this is a refreshing and unexpected take.

“I’d say God bless you, but it looks like he already has”
This is a sneeze-specific pickup line, but one that really comes in handy during allergy season.

“Are you a magician? When I look at you everyone else disappears”
This is a great line because it goes beyond just complimenting their looks but keeps things light with a joke.

“Besides being incredibly attractive, what do you do?”
Not only are you complimenting their looks in a way that doesn’t feel like too much,
but you’re also kicking off the conversation.

That’s my Story and I’m sticking to it! Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY! people,
stay safe, and whatever you do, don’t forget to laff it up! Peace, I am outta here! Eucman! 😁

Guaranteed to Roll Your Eyes
A kangaroo kept getting out of his enclosure at the zoo. Knowing that he could hop
pretty high, the zoo officials put up an 8-foot fence. The next morning, however, the
kangaroo was out again, idly roaming around the zoo.
The zoo officials raised the height of the fence to ten feet. Again, however, the next
morning the kangaroo was again roaming about the zoo. This kept on, night after night,
until the fence was 20 feet high. Finally, the camel in the next enclosure asked the kangaroo,
“How high do you think they’ll go?” The kangaroo replied, “Who knows? Maybe 50 feet.
Unless somebody starts locking the gate at night.” 😳

Tuesdays’ Movie Trivia of the day! What movie is this quote from??? “
“It would appear someone objected to this union and wasn’t able to hold their peace.”

Answer: Kill Bill: Vol. 1!
I’ve noticed that most people are essentially in two categories regarding Tarantino: Those who really love his work, and those who… well, really really don’t. I happen to be in the first category, and thought that both “Kill Bill” films were excellent. They featured a great story; wonderful, over-the-top characters and dialogue (a Tarantino trademark), and very cool stunts and effects. Michael Parks and his Earl McGraw character seems to be a Tarantino trademark as well, as the Ranger also made appearances in “Death Proof” (as well as Robert Rodriguez’s “Planet Terror”, both films combining as “Grindhouse”) and “From Dusk Till Dawn”. (Parks also portrayed Esteban Vihaio in “Kill Bill: Vol. 2). “Vol. 1” also starred Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, and (while not making an actual appearance until “Vol. 2”) the late David Carradine (RIP, Grasshopper!).

Wednesday’s Quizzler is…….
Whenever a phrase or sentence becomes part of the common language, there is a strong possibility that it will be quoted inaccurately.

Over the course of time, a letter gets shifted or a word is changed and forevermore the quotation becomes a cliche that nobody ever gets quite right.

Try to complete each proverbial cliche:

1.) ” I only regret that I have but one life to __ for my country.” – Nathan Hale

2.) “Ask me no questions, and I’ll tell you no __ .”

3.) “Music hath charms to soothe __ .” – William Congreve
