WELCOME to THURSDAY OCTOBER 20, 2022
Here’s the Story……
A woman said to her friend, “I don’t know what to do. My husband is such
a mess maker that you can’t imagine. He doesn’t put anything in its place,
I am always going around the house organizing things.”
The friend says, “Take a tip from me. The first week after we were married
I told my husband firmly, ‘Every glass and plate that you take, wash when
you are done and put back in its place.'”
The first woman asked, “Did it help?”
Her friend said, “I don’t know. I haven’t seen him since.”
😳 That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Have a GREAT
THURSDAY! people, stay safe, and whatever you do, don’t forget to laff it up!
Peace, I am outta here! Eucman! 😁

“If nothing else, there’s applause… like waves of love pouring over the footlights.
Answer: All About Eve!
Made in 1950, this movie, based on a story by Mary Orr, is about a young woman, played by Anne Baxter. She pushes herself into the group around an older but well established actress, played by Bette Davis, in order to use them and their contacts to rise to the top of the theatrical world, in any way she can. She wants so much to, as the quote says, hear the “applause”. The film received six Academy Awards including that of Best Picture.
